Florida's original wood coaster, thrilling guests at Panama City's Miracle Strip amusement park, is back. Long before the Dania Beach Hurricane in South Florida or Gwazi in Busch Gardens Africa set up their lumber-blessed scream machines, Starliner was the top draw at the coastal park that closed down in 2004. Cypress Gardens bought the coaster and kept it in storage until deciding to add it to the park in 2007. The coaster is bigger than Triple Hurricane, complete with eight hills and a 65-foot drop. The coaster is NOT open yet, but should be up by the end of the year.
